Thank You!!

Hi everybody!! I'm back!! :D

Well, actually, I never left, some of you know it, because even I've been very busy, and without an internet connection for the last two weeks... I found a way to answer all the emails that I could :) I know I know, some of you didn't receive answers :S I read them all, but I could only answer the most important ones ;) Anyway, from now I'll have more time and I'll try to start answering all of your emails ;)

The reason I've been a bit "dissapeared", is that I had to move to Madrid for a job :) Luckily, even they needed someone urgently, they were kind enough for waiting for me to release the Hologram - Complete project :) After the release, I have been very busy, solving the problems with the downloads that you probably know (sorry!! :P), looking for a flat here at Madrid, and moving all my equipment and things to it! Also... I had internet installed at my new home just a couple of days ago! I had to answer some of your emails from my mobile phone xD

But enough talking about my life... the title of this post is for all of you :) Why? Well... it could be just for purchasing or preordering the Hologram Project... but is much more than that :D Thanks to your attitude... releasing this project has been a great experience for me!! Even there were a lot of problems... I worked for solving it, and your encouraging emails were A BIG HELP for me to keep going!! I was having a very busy time, and almost living without sleeping xD Even I was a little afraid every time a new email arrived to my inbox... opening it thinking about some angry buyer that wanted to kill me for all the problems I caused with the downloads... and what was my surprise when I found a lot of kind words from a lot of you, and even looking for possible solutions and giving me ideas on how to fix the issues... YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

I'm almost crying while I'm writing theese words xDDD Really, that encouraging emails made me happy!!! I was having a difficult time, with the release, moving to a different city, having last time with good friends... and when I had all the problems with the release... I was afraid that everything was out of control, but you helped me a lot!!! :D I actually was thinking that there are a lot of good people in the world. Is hard to believe that someone can understand that something for what they pay is going wrong... and all of you did!! :D OUTSTANDING!!! :D

Now, for the next time, I already know how to do it :) It was a great experience, and even got interesting stories from some of you while I was looking for solutions. Sadly, there were a couple of people that were having issues because of difficult situations on their countries :S Hope you are ok, and that situations solve very soon ;) I just wanted to thank you for your great attitude :) Now I'm already installed here and started working at my new job... and guess what?? I'm using Blender for a lot of things there!! :D So now I'm already more relaxed... I'll start soon publishing more tutorials and working for new things at blendtuts.com! :D

THANKS A LOT TO ALL OF YOU WHO BOUGHT THE HOLOGRAM PROJECT, YOU'RE MAKING BLENDTUTS POSSIBLE!! YOU ROCK!!! ;P

PD: I know that a lot of you have already seen the tutorial, I love to hear your comments :) If you need something or it doesn't work for you, just drop me an email and I'll answer you as soon as possible ;)

Thanks for the update. And thanks for sharing your experience. A part of me thought you were annoyed with all of us and were going to spend less time on blendtuts. : ) Glad to know you're happy and making money.

How could I be annoyed with you! You're who make blendtuts possible, both purchasing tutorials or with encouraging comments :D

The tutorial was great....sorry it was so stressful.

I can't wait until the next tut. Keep up the good work novices like me require much attention :)

I'll continue with free tutorials for sure, just took a little break after the Hologram Project release and the move to Madrid :) Thanks!

The tutorial was of good quality but I was under the impression it was going to be similar to the one's on the site that you could follow along with. This was a speed modeling with a voice over. Next time I will inquire more. Hope your move goes well and good luck in Madrid :)

Thanks for your comment, Verticies ;) Actually, I said from the first time that the tutorial was going to be about 5/6 hours, while the raw recordings were about 12... so I thought it was clear that it would be accelerated at most of the parts :S I should be more clear. Anyways, next time will be different, cause I'm not 100% happy with this method, also... just this one was the first product, and I had some mistakes, but learnt a lot for next projects :D

Thanks again! ;)

Glad to see it wasn't too bad after all.

I was also moving to a different country when you got the tutorial out so I was able to watch it as soon as everything was unpacked (Takes a lot of work to make sure you got everything correctly, knowing that won't happen :P).

You were moving, also?? What a coincidence! :D Hope it went ok for you too! ;)

Thanks for all your support, Apos ;)

Can't wait to see more tuts from you! Very high quality stuff:) Learned so much.

Thanks a lot, Evan :D Glad you found them useful!! I'll start to publish things again very soon! ;)

Come on guys!
"Was not too bad" !!!???
Or the comment about the accelerated recording... !!!??
The truth is that it was NOT the tutorial for the complete beginners and as such it was obvious that it won't cover all the single steps to make things.

There is another point of this GREAT amount of work, which I appreciate most-> Oliver's tutorial does show You how to deal with the whole project...
The real work consits of Your thoughts, goals, drawings(yes exactly as was shown -> with a pencil and a white paper) different approaches and all this frustration which comes to You during the whole project (although it was not really shown ;) ) :-)

So after all keep Your smile on! The guy will truly do his best to make even better tutorials in the future!

Good work out there! :-)

hola

saludos!

Love us? Dude, we love you! Thanks for these wonderful tutorials. I spend a weekend trying to figure out blender by myself, and failed. then checked your first tutorial, and learned more in those 20 minutes than during the entire weekend. :) Much much love, its guys like you that let others see how extremly powerful Blender really is. :)

Glad you found them useful!! And well... finally I will need to say that the love is mutual hahah ;)

Thanks for your words, Sepomat ;)

Can't wait to see more tuts from you! Very high quality stuff:) Learned so much.
