Creating a Spider Web (Part 1)
Hi! Finally, here you've got the first part of this practical tutorial :D It can be quite boring, cause it takes a lot of hand work, but well, there you have the method for refining it yourself! In the next parts we'll see how to add water drops, cloth simulation and compositing.
I hope you like it, and that you aren't aracnophobic xD This is a great chance to see some tips for creating shapes with bèzier curves, that you can use in a variety of things. Also, I'd recommend you to keep it simple if you don't have a quite powerful computer, cause in the upcoming steps, we'll need a lot of computing power (for cloth simulation) and converting the result of this first part into a mesh, can take A LOT of polygons :)

Enjoy, and see you!!

Are you using screencast to display your keys?
I use a free software called ShowOff for displaying the keystrokes :)
